Begin by removing only the tongues on the long sides of all the other planks in the first row. Use wedges to maintain a gap of at least 15 millimeters to the wall, allowing for the natural expansion and contraction of the wood.

Insert the head end of the next complete plank into plank no. 1. Continue laying the other planks in this row across the entire width of the room..

Cut the last plank in each row, ensuring a 15mm gap to the wall. You can use cut-off pieces of planks, as long as they are at least 40 centimeters long, to start subsequent rows.

Make sure the planks in the first row are straight. Cut the first plank of the second row to approximately 80cm. Insert the tongue into the groove on the groove side of the previous row and slowly press the plank down, using a forward and downward turning motion. The plank should lock into place.

Repeat the process with the next complete plank, inserting it into the click connection on the long side. Push the head end tight against the previous plank and lower it down slowly, using a forward and downward turning motion. Ensure the plank locks into the previously laid row and the end joint fits tightly into the previous plank.

Continue installing the flooring area row by row, offsetting the end joints by at least 40cm.

For the last row, use a spare piece of plank to mark the remaining plank width, leaving a 15mm gap to the wall..

Take the marked plank and push the plastic end tongue forward out of the end groove using a spare piece of plank.

Frequently Asked Questions
The finest hardwood floors are produced from easily obtainable and — you guessed it — very durable wood species. Oak, maple, and cherry flooring are all excellent alternatives. Bamboo, walnut, ash, and mahogany are among the other species.
There are three types of flooring styles, they are: Solid hardwood flooring, engineered hardwood flooring, and engineered waterproof hardwood.
Solid wood flooring is available in several thicknesses, including 0.3′′, 0.6′′, and 0.75′′. Because the flooring is made from the same raw material, there is very little cost difference between 0.3′′ thick and 0.75′′ thick.
When installing solid hardwood over unsteady wooden flooring, the thickness of the wood counts. If your subfloor isn't as sturdy as you'd want, a thicker hardwood could assist. The thicker hardwood boards will provide structural stability that the subfloor doesn't have.
It really depends on what you're looking for. A satin finish has a glossy appearance that scatters light, making it effective in concealing dirt, dust, and pet hair. Additionally, satin floors tend to retain their fresh look for a longer time compared to other types of finishes. On the other hand, a matte finish is ideal for masking imperfections like scuffs, dents, or scratches.
